Happy Spring!!

Happy Spring!!
(for real this time!)
Isnt' this a fantastic picture!!
A fabulous friend of mine is a photographer this is one of her wonderful pictures!!
You can check out her blog.
But, that's not all!!

This is one of the views that I am blessed enough to be able see everytime I get off the freeway to go home. Aren't these flowers amazing? If anyone know what their called, I'd love to know.
We are so truly lucky to have tons and tons of amazing natural wildflowers that cover almost every inch of ground around our homes. Everyday I appreciate my wonderful home and it's beautiful surroundings. As I said, I am truly blessed. I live at the base of a national park and there is another mountain (ok maybe it's a hill, I don't know how tall it is but, it's tall) across the freeway. So basically, my little community is wedged inbetween these two mountains. There is a lake at the bottom of the hill and a horse ranch I get to drive by everyday when I take my kids to school. We also have a wonderful homeowners association that keeps the landscaping in our community looking fantastic. I have always wanted to do a four seasons photo shoot of the main drive up the hill to my house. Hopefully, I have inspired you to look around where you live. You CAN find beauty anywhere.

Enjoy your Spring, it only lasts a little while!!

Happy Spring!!
(well almost)These are some tags I made for a Spring/Easter mini tag book swap. They were so much fun to make. I am so glad I was able to participate in this swap and I will post pictures of the tags I recieve when I get them. (Can't wait!!!)
The lovely Elyse wanted to know if I could make some earrings in blue. I wasn't sure which color she preferred so I made several. They are all available at my Etsy store. Don't worry I have enough to make another pair when Elyse picks the ones she wants.
This adorable little Vintage straw chick (made in Italy) will be available in my etsy store soon.
So will this vintage pink chick. He's carrying flowers. How sweet!!
These eggs will also be available at some point today. They are made with German paper mache eggs, dresden trim, paper/velvet millinery flowers, and lots of glitter. They open up and are perfect for small gifts. I put a small base on the bottom so that they wouldn't fall over.
Oh, and look at the adorable goodies I got from Elyse. She is so sweet and creative. I absolutely love her stuff.
Little league is in full swing and boy are we busy. My husband is manager of two teams, one of them is "single A" and one is "double A". He absolutely loves it but boy does it make us busy. This week alone we have practice on Monday, Game on Wednesday, Game on Friday, and 2 games on Saturday. Thankfully our season is only 3 months long. In the meantime I'm going to have to find a better balance between baseball and creating. My creative time has been eglected.
I got something adorable at Target two days ago and can't wait to take pictures and show you.
Talk to you soon,
Cari
